hey that is a great thread started .
although i just know that crappy part of programming that everyone knows (implementing data structures inc and a mine sweeper in java my only programming expirience)i would like to help u out as far as i can . if u wish to mail me then u can at babaintrouble@gmail.com

I'm seeing some problems about this though. It's going to take much time, and we would have to keep up with Direct X. Game companies might not even give a damn about our lib and just ignore it too, which would be pretty bad after a lot of work.
