I have asked about this in America's Army own support forums and reply I get was, lets say, less than helpfull. Hopefully I can find here someone who has ideas what to try next.
Problem is, I cannot login in America's Army 2.2.1. When I have entered my login and password, and click "Connect", game gives "Connecting..." and after while "Timed Out".
When I exit the game after I got the "Timed Out" message none of webpages will open anymore and I got ping timeout from irc servers. After issuing "ifdown eth0" and after that "ifup eth0" network is up again.
This problem only happens with America's Army, and problem was same with last version I tried (AA 1.8) with Mandrake 9.2
Now I'm using Mandrake 10.0 Community with same computer I used 9.2 but problem is same. Issuing "ifconfig eth0" gives same results before running AA and after running AA, even if in latter case network isn't working.
Also, computer works slow after AA crashed network. For example, clicking console icon doesn't make anything happen, but when I waited minute or two, console opens. After 10 minutes programs work normally again.
I use DHCP for accessing network.
