bad collision detection in cube_2003_12_23 release


i read the readme, and it said to either update my drivers or get a new card. i dont have much money on me, so this isnt an option for me. theres gotta be another way. i use a radeon 9000 with the 3.2.8 drivers for xfree 4.3.0. anyone?
