Permission denied when setting up the environment.

Hi. When following the steps of chapter 4.5 "Setting Up the Environment " (http://archive.clfs.org/clfs-museum/...settingenviron)

I type the following commands:

Code:
cat > ~/.bash_profile << "EOF"
Code:
exec env -i HOME=${HOME} TERM=${TERM} PS1='\u:\w\$ ' /bin/bash
Code:
EOF
and receive
Code:
-su: //.bash_profile: Permission denied
I am logged in as clfs user.

EDITED: I forgot to create the clfs home dir, problem solved.
