make[3]: *** [check] Error 127

These errors can be found in these LFS logs. So I guess they can be ignored.

Hi

This is a very old post are you building lfs 6.5?. Is this the 1 you are building? If you are building a newer version can you start a new post.

Both log files you posted are not related to gcc 4.4.1 and LFS 6.5. Concluding that you can ignore these errors based on unrelated material is wrong.

The gcc 4.4.1 build log associated with LFS 6.5 does not mention autogen (http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/...gs/6.5/072-gcc)

Besides that, this is a 3 year old thread and the OP hasn't been seen in over a year.......
