libgmp.la not found


Hi, I am trying to install LFS , And when I do the lib check, It reports (archlinux is my host system)

libgmp.la not found
libmpfr.la not found
libmpc.la not found

and I tried to reinstall gmp , mpfr and mpc. but it didnt work, there still isnt libmp.la ,libmpc.la and libmpc.la.

what should I do ? hope to get help from your guys.

You don't need them. Read the book again: it says that they must be all present OR all absent from you host system. You're in trouble only if you have one or two of them, which is not your case.

Those are the static libraries, not the shared libraries.

You can build LFS with either, but often the static libraries are preferred by the build system. Some distributions include them, but others don't.
