LFS8.2, Host-Ubuntu(16.04, liveCD) ERROR compiling GCC-7.3.0 Pass1


While Following LFS 8.2,

There is a big difference in version number between your host gcc and the gcc you are trying to cross compile. you might want to try a more recent version of ubunto and see if the errors go away.

A couple weeks ago, I was able to compile LFS from manjaro live Cd. Manjaro has the latest GNU toolchain.

Which linux distro would be the best for compiling LFS from a live CD?
