LFS 8.3 - systemd downloaded in regular version

I downloaded for LFS 8.3, the regular (not systemd) stable version, the book, wget-list and md5sums files.

To save bandwidth, I decided to only download packages that were changed or added since LFS 8.1. Some games with diff & cut followed by a bit of manual editing was used to make a smaller wget list and md5 list.

During the manual editing, it was discovered that the following two items were present inside the wget-list file:
Code:
https://github.com/systemd/systemd/archive/v239/systemd-239.tar.gz
http://anduin.linuxfromscratch.org/LFS/systemd-man-pages-239.tar.xz
I double checked that I had gotten everything from the correct location. I had downloaded the wget list from http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/...able/wget-list and the md5sums from http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/...stable/md5sums

The book seems to be the regular version. There is no use of a systemd package and it identifies itself as the regular stable 8.3 book.

Could someone please explain why systemd is to be downloaded for a regular version of LFS? Thank you very much.

The wget list is just 1 list for both systemd and sysV, proberbley makes it easier to just have 1 list
