Im using Beyond Linux From Scratch - Version 6.0
Chapter 30. GNOME Core Packages

I get the following error when installing GNOME Virtual File System-2.8.3:

GNOME Virtual File System-2.8.3 installing... dependencies are met..
getting error:

I installed GConf-2.8.1 using:

./configure --prefix=`pkg-config --variable=prefix ORBit-2.0` \
--libexecdir=`pkg-config --variable=prefix ORBit-2.0`/sbin \
--sysconfdir=/etc/gnome --disable-gtk-doc &&
make &&
make install
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
/usr/lib/libgconf-2.so.4 is not present.
Any help would be appreciated.
