Question gcc-3.4.3 make -k check stops on error?

gcc-3.4.3 (something like in chapter 6)
I pass make -k check but I still get make target check not remade because of errors.

Isn't -k supposed to make sure this does not happen?

I am currently wondering whether or not I should continue. Will this be a risk to the stability of the system later one? From what I am used to, errors are expected, bu it failed with -k!?

i remember getting those errors and freaking out, starting all over again, etc., but i think you just blow through it if the test summary looks ok. as i understand it, the -k option doesn't stop it from failing, just from stopping when it fails. after the make -k check command, i believe the command is:

../gcc-3.4.3/contrib/test_summary | grep -A7 Summ

the hlfs gcc-3.4.3 notes say the results should be typical for an LFS build.

this output is from gcc-3.4.1 but the 3.4.3 would be similiar, i would suspect...
