Error installing Binutils

Hi All

in LFS 7.1 and 6.3 When trying to install Binutils all goes good

till this command

Code:

../binutils-2.22/configure \
    --target=$LFS_TGT --prefix=/tools \
    --disable-nls --disable-werror

it says /binutils-2.22/configure doesn't exist

What should I do

Hi

Did you create the did you cd into binutils-2.22 then run the command

Code:

mkdir -v ../binutils-build
cd ../binutils-build

So you should be standing in /mnt/lfs/sources/binutils-build to run the command

No, you should be in /mnt/lfs/sources/binutils-build to pick up the ../binutils-2.22/configure command.
