Connections timeout

I've some trouble with remote as400 connections (are almost telnet connections). After 10 minutes the router close the connections. Can I solve the problem with a parameter on my SuSE 9.1 (like keep alive or other)?
Thanks,
Davide

p.s.: I've set TCPKeepAlive yes on sshd_config but it doesen't work
