Binutils won't compile because it can't find install.sh

Hi,
I'm trying to make my own distro but binutils-2.16.90.0.1 gives me this error:

lfs@Slackware:/mnt/lfs/sources/binutils-2.16.90.0.1/binutils$ configure
loading cache ./config.cache
./configure: line 538: /dev/null: Permission denied
checking for Cygwin environment... \c
no
checking for mingw32 environment... \c
no
configure: error: can not find install-sh or install.sh in . ./.. ./../..

Where can I find the install.sh? In a LFS patch?
Thanks,
CPUFreak91

the binutils package may be borked.......

download a new one and try that......
are you installing LFS as a user?? make sure the user
has execute permissions for the LFS partition....also
make sure that the LFS $PATH was set properly....

...example
Code:
export LFS=/mnt/LFS
or what ever you mount point is.........

Yes. It won't even work as root and my regular user.
