Binutils 2.7 Unpacking Problem
Well... Right now ive tried everything to unpack binutils 2.17
I have alreayd try this command line
cd $LFS/sources
tar -xvf binutils-2.17.tar.bz2 << Here is where i get the problem
it says
tar: binutils-2.17.tar.bz2: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
cd binutils binutils-2.17
mkdir -v ../binutils-build
cd ../binutils-build
CC="gcc -B/usr/bin/" ../binutils-2.17/configure \
--prefix=/tools --disable-nls --disable-werror
Please Help ive been here in Chapter 5 for like 2 weeks
Have you downloaded all of the required packages and put them in that directory (see chapter 3.2)? IIRC, if you're using the live cd it will contain everything you need.
