Using icecast to boadcast an incoming stream


Ok I'm new at this so please excuse me if my wording is not correct. My comany needs to broadcast an incoming mp3 stream from some-ip:8000 out to the world. Now, am i right in thinking I need to setup a pull relay? icecast and ices are installed, but I just dont understand what to do. Could sombody please help with the configuration.
