ReInstalling Nertork Card(IP address) Problem


Dear All,
I am using RHEL 3,it was creating some booting problem so i have upgradated this by same os(version).
before this it was having two network cards

eth0 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.94 192.168.1.94

and

eth1 192.168.2.1 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.94 192.168.1.94

I have deleted all previous ip settings and give new ip settings but now after upgradation of linux i am giving same ip address so it is giving error that same ip is using by another host.
So Now I want to reinstall all the network setting.
Please help me in hurry how can i do this .
please please help/guide me.

Rajendra,
Your post is not clear.

Please clarify the IP addresses you want eth0 and eth1 to have.

Please also post results of

ifconfig -a


BTW, I believe there is a utility on Red Hat systems called "netconfig" for setting network properties through a "DOS-style" user interface. It's quite easy to use.
