Postfix deferred email question

If we have some emails that are headed for a certain domain and they are getting "temporarily deferred" (and clogging up our postfix server), would setting up a secondary fallback postfix server and using the line
fallback_relay=thesecondarypostfixservername (in main.cf)
work to move emails that get this deferred message to the fallback server?

fallback_relay should do the trick. For more info: http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#fallback_relay
