Patch routines, your tips.

Hello
At my work we have a growing centos enviorment, but we have yet to fix working patchroutines. I just want to know if you have any routines to patch regulary. For example do you ssh in to every server and just run yum-update/apt-get update. Or do you have any application that "pushes" out the update?
