monitoring packets ssh


i am getting timeout error on ssh connection .ssh session to node 09 gets *always* interrupted after some time (not sure exactly - about 30 mins)

Enterprise Linux Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (October Update 7)


Could u please tell me how to check .Is it a problem in ssh or nic ?

Check the *Alive* settings in /etc/sshd-config http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/man.c...nfig&sektion=5

HI,

Thanks for u reply .Yesterday issue has been resolved .14night there was a server move from one location to another in data center, so old boxes are not properly shutdown, thts why there ips are still active in 3 layer Switches .

So morning we had shutdown the boxs & clean the arp cache .The issue is in the network .
