Hello everybody.

I have 4 servers (HP proliant 380, 5G RAM)running RHSE3, and 3 of them have a very high memory consum. Even if the work load on the 3 of them is very different, the amount of free memory is about 2%. The rest is constantly used (we've been monitorizing them for months now).

I heard somewhere it was a normal behaviour in linux, to keep as much as it could in RAM, so the access to datas would be quicker when it needs to be done.

I would just like someone to confirm this, and also if there is some 'official' documentation I could
show to my boss so he stops worrying about this 98% RAM use we have here.
