Disks added to RAID5 array. Need to use new space.

Hi,
New disks was added to the RAID5 array in a IBM machine with RHEL5.
This is the actual partition table:

Model: IBM ServeRAID-MR10i (scsi)
Disk /dev/sda: 1793996095487B
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B
Partition Table: msdos

Number Start End Size Type File system Flags
1 32256B 106928639B 106896384B primary ext3 boot
2 106928640B 10840919039B 10733990400B primary ext3
3 10840919040B 895913948159B 885073029120B primary ext3
4 895913948160B 896991459839B 1077511680B extended
5 895913980416B 896991459839B 1077479424B logical linux-swap

And this the free (unallocated) space in disk
896991459840B 1793991144959B 896999685120B Free Space

I need:
1) Add the free space to partition 3 or
2) Create a new partition to use all free space.

What's the best way to do one of them or both?

Thanks in advance!

So you created a true/fake hardware RAID with this card and initially 3 disks?

When it's possible at all, it must be done on a RAID controller level, as the data needs to be re-arranged. Either when you reboot in the BIOS of the card, or in their MegaRAID Storage Manager application. It’s based on an LSI card AFAIK, and some support to extend the capacity (and others are only fake RAIDs?). Is there something in the documentation of the card or its software about it?

When you got this done, you have to use something like gparted from a Live CD to adjust the partitions.
