Clustat does not list the services

OS RHEL 5.4

Clustat is not listing the services in the cluster "Service states unavailable: Temporary failure; try again". This error started after i restarted rgmanager while the cluster was running. Any Solution that does not require restarting cluster or node?

What do the other nodes say?

Also that they cannot get the service states?

Other nodes can get the state. Only this machine on which rgmanager was restarted can not get the state.

Did you try to restart again?

Or only once?

If you try again try with stop then validate if clurgmgrd is still running if not kill it (if need be with -9). Then start it again. Before doing this move all rgmanager controlled services from this node. It should not do any "harm" but you never know ;-) .

Does this change this behaviour?

I've seen this behaviour but thought it was fixed with RHEL5.4.

Did you live update you machines? From RHEL5.x to RHEL5.4?

Got it resolved after restarting the whole cluster. Yes i restarted the service just like you said (/etc/init.d/rgmanager stop and then killing the daemon) but it was not working. This is a clean install of RHEL 5.4 not yum upgrade etc. I think its a bug, anyhow thanx for your help.
