Who has a Raspberry Pi?

Just got mine today. Still figuring out what I want to do with it. ATM it's going to serve as a media server but dunno what else I might do with it.

What's everyone else doing with their's?

I've got an original model b, it acts as a wireless bridge as well as a media input to the TV...for now, it's also another computer to mess around with.

Nothing. My software genius bought me one to watch movies on, but the browsers have no flash/java, last time I checked. Youtube-dl does work and there's some funny player for the hdmi (omxplayer?). Using the debian install.

I want one to use as an SSH server/tunneling proxy to access my main PC from the internet without having to keep it running 24/7 (since it's an AMD bulldozer so not exactly low-power ) as well as a torrent client for similar reasons and, possibly, a web server occasionally. Sadly I've other things to spend my money on at present but hopefully I'll get one soon.
Other that that I'd love to use one just as another server for playing with -- sometimes a real machine is more fun than a VM.
Edit: Ah, just thought that it would be pretty good as another type of client to a Linux Terminal Server also...

I've got that model as well. I bought an LED extension connected through GPIO and played with Python to control the LEDs. Quite fun but no real practical value at the moment

Oh, I forgot, I want a LedBorg so I can set it up for Cheerlights. It's of no practical value but I like the idea.

I don't have one, But since these devices were successful in sales, I hoping they'll come out with a newer generation model with higher cpu and ram

I was going to get one to use as a VPN server for use when I'm at a public network like a McDonalds or whatever... I'm just concerned whether or not I can keep it running all the time

I've got 2: an A and a B. Haven't done anything serious or practical with them yet.

I have 4 - 2 run raspbmc and we use them as media servers, 1 runs pidora and that is my bit torrent box, 1 runs raspbian and I just play around with this.

I would like to install a temperature sensor but I am too busy at the moment.

I have both models of the RaspPi. Setup for bench hardware experimentation & play. Running SlackwareARM with no real issues.

I have one of the original Model B's (256Mb). I run the latest Raspbian release with Samba, Wired networking etc.
My runs 24/7 with no issues.
