Post how to learn driver development

i m an electrical engineer who is interested in embedded systems.
i have learned the basic embedded C programming in ARM 7&cortex architectures.

now i am passionate about driver development. So i decide to learn driver development.

now i do not have any knowledge about the concepts(eg : major number, init function etc).

firstly i want to learn the concepts. then i want to go to actual programming .

please suggest me websites and e-documents, facebook pages, groups etc.,
