Question cortex-A8 RK2918 chip android tv board. Is it possible to flash linux on it


Hi,
I have cortex-A8 RK2918 chip android tv board which is having andriod os on it.Is it possible to flash linux on it.Please help me in this.I am intrested to start learning device drivers on it.If it is not possible please suggest which board i can buy to learn linux device drivers.

Android is a user space that runs on a Linux kernel. If the device is not Tivoized then you can modify the Android and Linux source to add your own code and run it.
