Well, I think that, compared to most of the distro's around, Sourcemage is pretty much based on the same filosophy as Gentoo. Because I currently do not have the need to install / reinstall another distro (mine just works perfectly, everything I want works fine) I won't try it now, but if I ever have to reinstall I will also check out Sourcemage and Sorcerer etc. and let "you" know how it compares to Gentoo
I'm using debian testing, arch linux and I was using FreeBSD but during arch linux installation I accidently formatted the wrong hd with freebsd on it... Maybe there's a way to unformat, I dunno
