i have vps (with plesk) i need to install FFMPEG, FLVTOOL2, MENCODER, GD, FREETYPE in ubuntu server

are you familiar with Ubuntu's package management system?

It's probably easiest to use "aptitude". Just be sure your repositories are set up correctly (i.e. make sure you don't have any references to a CD or DVD in /etc/apt/sources.list & make sure you uncomment out all repositories you think are safe for your server).

Once you load aptitude (by typing "aptitude" at a command line), hit the 'U' key to reload the database, then search for the packages you want. Once you find one, type a '+' to mark it for install. when you've marked all you want, hit the 'g' key ('g' for "GO"), make sure everything ok, then install. the packages will download & install for you.
