sme server 7.6 help please!!!

Hi guys,

I have a server set up at home, that I want to be able to access from anywhere on the internet. All it is to be used for is a place to dump and retrieve media files (mainly photographs).

I have just installed sme_server upon recommendation, and have to say I feel like i am finally getting somewhere!

the server is up and running and displaying the test page - i am able to access it from the local network now... but I am struggling for an easy solution to storing and uploading files to it from a remote computer

I am new to linux, so would really like a GUI to work with.

can anyone recommend a suitable package?

any advice would be gratefully received!

kindest regards

Chris
