SLAX on 2 GB flash drive

I need help trying to install SLAX to a 2 GB flash drive.

I tried following the instructions found here:

http://os.newsforge.com/os/05/07/08/1522251.shtml

However, when I run syslinux, I get errors that complain that clusters must be smaller than 16K. I'm not really sure what that means, but I think it has something to do with the partitions on my flash drive not being small enough.

I'm not familiar with SLAX, thus cannot tell you what exactly to do. Obviously you need to reformat your drive with smaller cluster size. See this link:

I finally ended up just downloading HP's utility to make a flash drive bootable, and borrowed a friend's Windows XP machine to use the program.

After that, SLAX was easy to install.
