RH9 usb mouse/keyboard hotplug

hey there all,

i run RH9 on a machine that is on a KVM switch that has a usb keyboard and mouse and a monitor attached to it. when i switch away from the RH box and switch back i lose the mouse and keyboard fucntionality.

any ideas on how to get the mouse and keyboard to come back when i switch back to the RH9 box?

thanks,

ok well i think it has to be an X setting because i can switch back and forth fine before i start X. however, after i have started X (and even if i start X then kill it) i can no longer switch away from the RH9 box and switch back and have mouse and keyboard function.

any thoughts?

i have been looking through XF86Config and usb.rc, but nothing has really seemed to help.

please let me know of any ideas.

thanks,
men$an

I don't know if you have an answer for this yet, but I found this webpage with something that might help with your problem. Just scroll down til you get to the JUMPING MOUSE section.
