Question NO DESKTOP(KDE) IN PCLinuxOS.


I TRIED TO USE PCLinuxOS LIVE AND I GOT STRUCK WITH THE DESKTOP,BECAUSE THE DESKTOP IS BLACK AND NOTHING'S THERE EXCEPT THE MOUSE.IS IT THE PROBLEM IN THE CD I USED.BECAUSE THERE WERE WRITE ERRORS IN THAT.WHAT SHOULD I DO.

MY SYSTEM CONFIG::

INTEL P-IV 2.26 GHz

RAM 256 MB

INTL 845 CHIPSET





ALSO I WANNA KNOW WAT'S VERBOSE MODE(I'VE NOT TRIED THAT ANYWAY)????......


ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIABLE.....

if you hit <esc> you can get to verbose mode
