Hi shdhnd,
try configuring mplayer with this option:
Code:
--with-gtk-config=PATH
Where PATH is the path to gtk*-config (e.g. /opt/bin/gtk-config).
Good luck, hope I helped,
- drowstar
I got the parameter by calling ./configure --help. You can use this command to get help configuring the source. In this case you might want to add | grep gtk to the command to filter the output for any mention of "gtk".
dont you hate it when people dont post to say wether it worked out in the end or not... helps others with the same problem too whether it is the right thing to do or not...
Installed glib-devel and gtk-devel, in that order, and after that the configuration worked. These packages did not seem to be installed even though I ticked all the boxes in the SUSE 9.1 YaST installation. I got them from http://www.rpmseek.com/index.html?hl=com
