Mouse settings

I am currently running SuSE 8.1. I mainly run Linux as a standalone server running Apache, Postfix, etc. So really I do not need a keyboard or mouse connected to it all the time. However, when it boots without a mouse, the YaST module will come up at the Hardware Scan At Boot and ask me for mouse settings; even though it is already configured for NONE. YaST just sits there until a NONE is accepted ( I have to plug in a USB keyboard to do so).

I would rather NOT have to do this every time I boot the machine. Is there a way to tell YaST not to look for a mouse at all, until I tell it otherwise? I have already tried to boot the machine with a mouse, go to YaST and select NONE for the mouse settings, then reboot the machine without the mouse. Same situtation - YaST comes up at boot and will ask for a mouse setting before continuing the boot process. Which happens before Apache is loaded, so I can not simply leave it like that.

I am sure there is some secret undocumented command that SuSE buried deep in the code some where. We must find it!

Anyone got any ideas? Much thanks!
