Hey all, I have 2 problems with MDK 9.1. First when LILO starts to boot linux it uses the smp kernel why I don't know in MDK 9 it didn't and it shouldn't because I don't have smp!!

Second after booting up to get my usb mouse to work I have to unplug it and then plug it back in (this didn't happend in MDK 9 either) btw the mouse is plug into a hub but this shouldn't matter it worked fine in MDK 9. any help with these problems or links to docs would be nice. I would really like links to any documentation !! thanks for any help.

Well I did some digging around and sloved the problems that I had.
To get the mouse working on boot I had to go into my BISO settings and select ubs-legacy emulation on. And for selecting which kernel I wanted to load by default I looked in /etc/lilo.conf. But I still don't know why these things happend. Everything worked fine out of the box for Mandrake 9.0.
