KDE3

I had a similiar situation when i ran a terminal under root, or ran a configuration app (drake), or basically anything that affected the system globally.

solution: use GNOME

preferrably black box. I am upset with KDE even tho i fell into the hype to install it. What a mistake. The clip board s*cks and other features hang. Im not the only one who complained eigther.
