originally had lubuntu installed from a cd and my lubuntu always seem to have problems. crashing and constant errors. attempted to try live usb but it never works. i get the start up screen where i can select install or try live and both come back with acci probe fail. i tried installing puppy linux on the same usb drive on the same usb port and it work fine. im actually using it now with absulutly no problems. i like this distro but i almost need something a little more heavy. puppy linux takes way too long to save every shut down plus i enjoy gaming now and then and this doesnt really seem the distro for gaming. my laptop is a hp-g60 with amd turionx2 proccesor and nvidia graphics.
As far as a Gaming distro try Ubuntu. You can install Steam and play all the games you want.
Some are free to play and some not. http://store.steampowered.com/
