Linux to install on 1Gb SD Card, developement tools required. Which?
Before Fedora 8 comes and I'm going to give a serious consideration as wether or not to wipe this computer Windows free (I never dual-boot) despite being dependant on wlan and computer has Broadcom, I'd like to give a shot on something I haven't ever tried. Read on...
I'm looking for a small linux distro to install on a small flash drive. All I need is the common developement tools: vim, sed, gdb, gcc/g++ and libraries Boost included. I hate busybox, DSL would do otherwise. It should be installable so that it doesn't require anything to be installed on hard-drive, not even lilo/grub, because it would be awesome to take the whole project and the enviroment to friends place.
I'm investigating possibility of Puppy, but the documentation is terribly scarce. Thanks in advance!
