Question Linux Distributions


Hello

Can anyone advise me which is the best linux distribution? If possible, kindly add some reasons to your choise...

The best Linux distro for one person may not be the best for others so you just have to play around until you find the right one for you. The question you should be asking is what do I want to do with it? Then, you can narrow down your choices...

I recommend MEPIS. it has a live disc and easy install.

Thnx y2k, you are right saying that this depends on oneself as I heard many times people around me saying that Suse Linux was much better than Mandrake or any Distribution, well by trying both of them, I found that Mandrake was best suited for me and also for my pc...

anything but gentoo

i would use anything but that ant USA distro called gentoo.
knoppix is a good distro.
