ISO problem thing

hey i've just downloaded slackware well the first two ISO's. im getting the Cds for them and hopefully will be installing it either wednesday or thursday. any way i've got a problem with nero. it wont burn directly to the disk, it burns the iso's to like a directed place. i never understood it before. mind you i still dont really. so what i've been doing is using the windows xp burning, where you copy all the files you want to the cdrw folder, and then click burn and windows does it. well can i use nero to burn them into the ISO things and then copy this ISO to a blank disk and burn it windows way? or is there another way?
im new to linux. this will my first time using any distribution of it. lol.
