Installing SUSE on an Apple PPC

Hello,

I would like to install linux on my iBook G3.
After searching on the internet and on linuxquestions, it seems that SUSE for PPC exists, but only for old versions of SUSE (7.x). Besides that, I cannot find any ISO image (even for these old versions). Does anybody knows if more recent versions of SUSE for PPC exist? And where I can find them?

If not, which distro would you recommend me?
The main thing I want to do with this computer is use it as a NIS and a NFS server. I'd like to have an easy-to-configure distribution, a bit like SUSE.

Thank you,

Benjamin

Thank you. It's a good link. It seems to me that Yellow Dog is a good distribution for PPC. What do you think?
Besides that, I have found a way to configure my mac as a NFS server (not tried yet): http://astcomm.net/tech/nfs_howto/server/

Does anyone know if it is possible to configure it as a NIS (Network Information Service) server?
