HP PSC 750 and Linux Mandrake 8.1

I bought this printer when I saw it listed in the installation list
(hardDrake),
but I cant get it to print even test pages.

When I try running printerdrake in a console as root,
all I get is a message saying that the parport module is not insstalled

I run LM8.1 and the HP PSC is connected via USB cable.

You should have CUPS installed with drake, point your browser to http://localhost:631 and add the printer directly with the CUPS web admin tool.
