How to install SuSE 9.1 Pro from harddisk?

1. Can I install from ISO images?
2. If not, what is the directory structure I should follow to extract the ISO images?
3. There is a MINIMAL.sel and a Minimal.sel in the same directory£º\suse\setup\descr\, but FAT32 will not allow these two files co-exist in the same directory.

Hi,

I assume you have downloaded SuSE 9.1 via FTP.

I made a directory called SuSE on my Windows partition (C:\SUSE) and moved the files into there. I've been told that you must keep MINIMAL.sel, Minimal.sel is not needed unless you want to have a minimal install, therefore rename it to something else for the time being.

As far as I know though you need at least CD 1 to boot into the setup.

On booting the CD, select 'Manual Install', go through the usual settings, and when given the option of 'CDROM or Network or Hard disk', choose hard disk and enter SUSE in the edit box, and away it goes.
