Helix Boot Issues with Dell Inspiron 530

For a class, I'm taking I need to use a Helix Boot disc, which is a live Linux CD used in computer forensics. However, each time I attempt to boot my computer, I get this error: "Can't find Helix file system".

I've found sparse indications that others have had this issue with some Dells (this model in particular) but it seemed that the only work-around was to use a different boot disc, usually Windows-based.

Try verifying the hash of the ISO you burned matched the advertised hash for it?
Try running HELIX virtualized to see if the CD will boot OK?
Try an older version?
Try a newer version?
See if other Live CDs boot OK?
Try an USB stick version?
Else point us to the URI's where these "sparse indications that others have had this issue with some Dells (this model in particular)" are posted for details?
