Mandrake 9.1 is pretty nice, but I'll probably go back to my old trusted friend SuSE.
My Box always shuts down, Wine is ready to go, and I got music.
Also I get to practice my German.

Anyone know where I can find the specs of 8.2 so I can see what the changes are? Couldn't find squat at suse.com.

Read the review. The guy who wrote it had some trouble and assumed that SuSE did a bad job on 8.2. Maybe he had a weird hardware configuration??? I have never had a problem with it.

Can't wait to get my hands on 8.2

Can someone PLEASE make ISO images of it if/when they get??

i read another review, quy gave a 8.2 on scale of 10. he mentioned that suse fixed some problems , the one problem that was stated in review was some of the applications did not work.

i like suse because it,s easy to update software off the cd-roms, and the online update through yast is great. i also like the way it functions. smooth functioning operating system with suse.

all linux systems have there pluses and minus,s, none are perfect.

I have used SuSE 7.3 and it runs very very nice and installation is so easy. The performance is slightly slower than Gentoo or Slackware though.
