That new error is really odd, because it should be "cd"ing into the directory, so the fact that it is a directory should be a good thing.

ah it seems there was a problem with the hlds_run.
for some reason i have no clue why, it had made itself non-executable.
i just chmod +x ./hlds_run

now it works perfectly.

wierd...but nevermind it worksnow Thanks all
