Enlightenment
OOH - I just tried it out and fell for it! I ditched Kubuntu and installed Elive onto the drive it used to live on.
But - there are lots about it that are not exactly intuitive!
I haven't got a clock on the desktop at the mo and I can't quite work out how to get one ! - Lots of reading ahead methinks.

See here http://edevelop.org/node/1881 - worked for me. Elive is worth it in the end I think, took me a while to work out major features and there are still a few bugs but its now my distro of choice.
