Exclamation corrupted filesystem

How else do I repair (manually fix) a filesystem that was damaged by removing a system from power source? I have tried using e2fsck with no success. Or maybe I don't even know how to use that well enough.... Could you please get me a site that has enough materials on repairing damaged filesystems?

You want a program to do it for you. There are different programs for different filesytems. Did you try "man e2fsck"?

I have actually checked the man pages for fsck and I have used all the options
it gave with no success. I thought there may be another avenue I've not
exploited.
If you can't fix the filesystem, maybe you can just recover any important data out of it, then reformat.
