I can see youtube video clips with sound. So it is a good
distro which knew my Ehternet card from boot. No need to click
Sound I needed to click on intel.

But I am too new to it to get how do I change keyboard
so the layout works for my country.

and I also fail to know how to mount the hda1 maybe it is already
mounted but how to I reach it_ I have a html file there with
bookmarks and music I want to hear.

I did search for alixe forum but failed to find in english
and the french one recommended LQ

It was automounted and one use the file and open ???
have forgot but it worked.

Now I only need to change keyboard. Does anyone of you know how to?

Wow indeed. They had made change of keyboard so easy me had now clue
that it was right in front of me in bottom of page. Amd icon looking
like a kbd but the resolution and my bad eyes failed to see it was a
keyboard but it was supereasy once one knew.

Alixe is good. Many things just worked right out of the box.
Superfast too. Sad that they insist on talking French in their
own forum. Great language that I had opportunity 1972 to chose
but unfortunately made another choice of language. Don't ask.

Alixe manged to show one tv channel here but not the other one.

It works great on youtube without having to install a thing.

But it fails on BBC homepage to show their one minuteworld news.

It fails with realplayer files so most likely one can find a
linux equivalent for realplayer?
