[SOLVED] XFCE4 Security nonsense

Certain Applications (GE and Masterpdf, I think) are tricking XFCE into demanding a password when they're closed.I have no password set, and as much security stuff as possible disabled. I have no interests in tying knots in my own shoelaces

. How do I give that the middle finger?

I've not had that problem with masterpdf.
What is GE? General Electric?

Sorry Folks, GE = Google Earth; Yes, I was confused.

XFCE uses the gnome keyring stuff. When I terminate either of these apps, I get an "Unlock Keyring" window, stating

Code:

Enter Password To Unlock
An Application wants access to the Keyring 'Default,' but it is locked.

A place is underneath for a password, but any I provide are rejected. I want to disable that, before it starts disabling me.

I ran 'chmod -x /usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon' and no more pestering from the keyring.

Thank you camorri, that sorted it. I'll probably uninstall it If I can, because I'm tight on / since the last install.
