Is it possible to customise xdm so that the user name maybe be entered and then the password entry screen activated by pressing Enter?
It's not a big issue but the Enter key is an easier target than the tab key on small keyboards.
According to the xdm man page, xLogin handles authentication and "
Nearly every imaginable parameter can be controlled with a resource" but not having a new window for the password!?
